There are a whole host of activities and fun to be had around the area, we’ve included a small list here of the things we think are definitely worth a visit!

Hardys Animal Farm is a great day out in over 7 acres of Lincolnshire countryside yet just 10 minutes walk from the beach, with loads of things to do and animals for you to meet feed and make friends with… It’s a great day out, whatever the weather!

You can see pigs being born in our specially glazed breeding unit, and feed the goats, cattle, and many other animals allowing the children to learn about modern farming and interact with animals in a safe and fun environment. We also have baby Lambs, Goats, Cows and Chicks being born throughout the year.

Located in Ingoldmells on the sunny east coast of Lincolnshire close to Skegness and a stone’s throw from the beach, Fantasy Island is the ultimate destination for all the family. Our extreme rides and coasters will test thrillseekers’ nerves, while those looking for something more family-friendly will have plenty of rides, arcades and other attractions to choose from. There are lots for the little ones to enjoy too, including rides, a soft play area and live character shows during the high season.

What’s more, Fantasy Island is home to Europe’s largest seven-day market, where you can find everything from gifts, toys and gardening tools to clothing, accessories and electricals. And, when you need to recharge your batteries, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the many restaurants, cafes and bars across the park to take a well-needed break!

Don’t forget that our ride-all-day wristbands offer real value and more savings than ever before, or if you’d prefer to pay-as-you-ride, you can do that too!

Skegness is a lovely traditional coastal town in Lincolnshire. This is where Butlins all started back in 1936 but a lot has changed since then! You’ll find some lovely restaurants and a beautiful blue flag sandy beach right on your doorstep.

Gibraltar Point national nature reserve is an area of approximately 4.3 km².

For a spot of tranquillity, head to Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve, just 10 minutes’ drive to the south. Covering the next three miles of the Lincolnshire coastline, it protects the unspoilt landscape and its important communities of plants and animals. It also gives visitors many sights and sounds to savour.

The reserve consists essentially of a pair of almost parallel dune systems separated by saltmarsh, with other habitats including sandy and muddy seashore, sand dunes and freshwater marsh with ponds and lagoons. A network of paths leads visitors around major habitats, keeping disturbance to a minimum.
